Procedure Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Application

To begin the process of obtaining a tobacco-related license in Fiji, applicants must first obtain the application form either from the District Health Office, the City/Town Council Municipalities Health Department, or by downloading it from the Fiji Tobacco Industry Portal (FTIP). Once the form is acquired, applicants must complete it carefully, ensuring all sections are filled out accurately, and gather the necessary supporting documents as required by the application guidelines.

Step 2: Pay the Required Fee at the Local Health Center

Make the required payment at your nearest local health center. Once the payment is processed, collect the receipt as proof of payment, which will be needed for the next steps in the licensing process

Step 3: Submit the Application to your Local Health Center

Once the application form is completed and a payment receipt is obtained, you must submit the full application, along with the payment receipt and any other required documents, to the nearest local Health Center. Local health officers will review the submission. If the application is complete and in order, it will then be forwarded to the Tobacco Unit for final approval

Step 4: Collect the License from Your Local Health Office

If all requirements are met, the License for Manufacturer, Importer, Distributor of Tobacco Products, and Suki Vendor will be issued or renewed for the upcoming year. Once approved, the applicant can collect their license from the nearest local health office
