Registration to Trade Protected Species
 

Applicants must submit an application to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, providing detailed information about their business operations, the species involved, and the nature of the trade. Once registered, traders are authorized to engage in the legal trade of protected species, subject to strict monitoring and compliance with conservation laws. This registration helps protect Fiji's wildlife while allowing for regulated, sustainable trade practices.

 
Procedure Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Application

Applicants must download and complete the application form for the Form 5; Register to trade, providing necessary details about the applicant and the nature of the application

Step 2: Pay the Required Fees

Pay the required fees to the Consolidated Fund Account in Fiji and collect the receipt as proof of payment.

Step 3: Visit Ministry of Environment and Submit the Application

In order to complete the registration, Submit the completed form along with the required documents to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. The Ministry will review the application and notify the applicant if any documents are missing. If the application is rejected, reasons will be provided via email. 

Step 4: Visit Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and Collect Your Registration Certificate

The Registration Certificate can be collected in person at the Ministry's office or will be sent via email to the applicant.
