Import License
For Used Motor Vehicles

To apply for an Import License for Used Motor Vehicles, prepare a written request and attach the required documents. The vehicle must meet specific conditions based on type, age, and Euro 4 compliance. The Import License for Used Motor Vehicles ensures that vehicles imported into the country meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Procedure Steps
Step 1: Obtain JEVIC Certificate

To obtain a JEVIC certificate, the vehicle must first undergo an inspection at a designated JEVIC-approved facility in Japan. During the inspection, the vehicle is checked for compliance with safety, emissions, and roadworthiness standards. If the vehicle passes the inspection, JEVIC issues the certificate, which confirms the vehicle's compliance with the required regulations. This certificate is then provided to the exporter, who includes it with the vehicle during shipment to Fiji. The JEVIC certificate is necessary for customs clearance and registration upon arrival in Fiji.
