Phytosanitary Certificate
For Exporting Plants or Plant Products

Begin by registering with the Biosecurity Authority of Fiji (BAF) through their Generic ePhyto National System (GeNS) at https://fj.ephytoexchange.org/. Once registered, submit an application detailing the plant or plant products intended for export. BAF will review your application and may conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the importing country’s phytosanitary requirements. Upon successful evaluation, BAF will issue an electronic phytosanitary certificate (ePhyto) through the GeNS platform, facilitating a more efficient and secure export process.

Procedure Steps
Step 1: Submit B1 Form in GeNS

Apply for the export inspection via GeNS and attach all relevant information such as B1 and other documents

Step 2: Make Payment after Inspection

BAF Officer visits the paskhouse and conduct inspection. Once the inspection is complete, make the payment in cash or via mobile banking.

Step 3: Submit Receipt to BSO

Submit the payment receipt to BSO. The station officer approves the certificate in GeNS and the certificate is sent directly to the importing country's NPPO.
