Step 1: Prepare the Application Form

Collect the application from the District Health Office or City/Town Council Municipalities Health Department, or download the Form from the Fiji Trade Information Portal and duly complete the application form along with the required documents. |
Step 2: Pay the Required Fee

Make payments to the local Food Safety Unit or online through the BusinessNow E-services portal |
Step 3: Submit Application to the Nearest Local Food Unit

Submit the completed application form along with the required documents and prescribed fees to the Authorized Officer of the Food Authority in the district where your food business is located or Online through the BusinessNow E-services portal |
Step 4: Inspection of the Business Premises

After submitting your application, the Authorized Officer will review the documents. Once complete, an inspection will be scheduled to ensure the premises meet food safety standards. After the inspection, a report will be sent to the Central Board of Health for final approval. |
Step 5: Collect the Health License
|
If the business establishment meets all requirements, the Health License will be issued or renewed for the upcoming year. |
