Step 1: Prepare the Application

Actions

1.1 Download the Application for Form EMA/WDR 6 from FTIP or the Ministry of Environment Website

1.2 Tick the relevant permit types:

  • Batteries handling

  • Plastic bottles

  • Recycling

1.3 Provide detailed information, including:

  • Facility and ownership details

  • Premises and landowner consent (including NLTB if on native land)

  • Source, quantity, and storage details of batteries/plastic bottles

  • Collection points, recycling process, and waste disposal/export plans

  • Equipment used, process flow diagrams, and capacity

1.4 Attach all required documents

 

Required Documents

1. Site plan (Appendix A)

2. Training & staffing details (Appendix B)

3. Landowner consent letters

4. Any incineration details (Appendix C – if applicable)
